Three clean blocks of retro color divide the canvas into a tranquil, balanced seaside horizon. At the bottom, a couple sits side-by-side on a warm, neutral grey shore, their backs to the viewer as they gaze out at a calm band of muted teal water under an expansive, dusty salmon-pink sky. The sepia-toned grain of the figures provides a satisfying, tangible texture against the silky, flat fields of color.
