Broad horizontal bands of color create a calm, layered landscape. Charcoal gray dominates the upper portion, followed by a band of warm terracotta, a stripe of navy and concluding with cream. Surrounded by a white expanse, focus is led to the center of the composition. The smoothness of the bands gives a sense of tranquility, reminiscent of the horizon at dusk where the sky meets the earth and sea, captured in a moment of stillness.
