Choosing your artworkAbout this artwork
The MV Edwin H. Gott, a colossal freighter, navigates the blue waters near Mackinac Island, passing the Round Island Light, a beacon that has guided vessels for decades. The lighthouse stands resolute on the small piece of land, a guardian to the ships that traverse these waters. The Gott, with its stature, is a testament to the industrious spirit that courses through the Great Lakes. The work is a graceful dance of engineering and tradition, against the backdrop of the island's lush, autumn-kissed forests and the expansive sky.
